I thought some practical content might be useful if we really want this plannerspherewiki to be of any use, for everyone other than planners just starting in the business.

One of the things that all planners will need to do at some time is conduct qual. research.  One of the things that can often make the research that much better is the viewing facility (which we inevitably have to use).  Obviously nothing can beat interviewing/researching people in their natural environment, but next best is re-creating it, or creating an atmosphere that will facilitate learning.  Having said that, it might also be worth including those that simply serve good food!

So here are my top 3 (all London centric).

For the Environment

Home sweet home

Has replica dining room/teenage bedroom/70s lounge etc.  It's also brilliant for workshops.

The Treehouse

Has lovely viewing rooms.  It's also quite posh, would be great for any premium type brands.

For good food

So What?

I'm being unfare, it's a very modern viewing facility which can accomodate webcasts.  But it also serves tapas!

My Turn...

Just used a great facility in Atlanta, GA with nice viewing rooms as well as a large test kitchen (they also have quant. facilities) - also a good spot in Minneapolis, MN.
